Sorry - been busy and have not had time to post this since Kingsnake came back.
We need to make sure these igs find some homes. If you wanted to donate money
I would check the person out first though.
---------------

I am trying to get as much help in or around her area as possible. Here is
her letter:

find a place to relocate to in the next few days, I will have to somehow
farm out 20 igs (except Suki & Smokey) to various places and people, who
may or may not be iguana experts. I have about 8 iguanas that need
special care and medical attention.
permanent work. I usually work as an admin. assistant and trainer in DE.
status because it costs mucho $ to get a lawyer to file the paperwork.
All food, housing, and veterinary expenses come out my pocket or out of
the few rescue fees of $25 that I get. In the last year I have spent well
over $2000 out of my pocket for the vet.
2 tokay geckos, 1 leopard gecko, 1 bearded dragon and about 10 Russain
Dwarf Hamsters. I rescue anything.
(approx 8 igs) have special medical needs... also, I am the only ig
rescue contact person to take in igs from the DE SPCA, DE Humane
Society, Brandywine Zoo, The Academy of Natural Science (Phila PA),
Friskys' Wildlife and Primate Sanctuary, various veterinarians, various
wildlife rehabilitators, and various pet stores... .and not only in DE
but in PA, MD, Wash DC, part of NJ, and part of VA too.
has an iguana for me to pickup at one of their volunteer's homes
(Baltimore MD). However, she doesn't do reptiles at all but will keep it
for me for 1 week only, unless I can place it before the week is out.

The igs and I thank you very much for your contribution, it is much
appreciated.
I have to admit it is very scary not to know where you are going to live
in the next couple days. I could possibly go somewhere but no igs are
allowed with the person who offered me a place to live because she fears
lizards and all reptiles of any type.
me know, via email or phone. I am well know in DE, MD and PA. People have
met me and seen my igs on the IML and MAGGIK lists, plus others would
vouch for me. This is not a gimick, this is for real.
