Alot of people buy the wrong animals for themselves and thier families (a lone elderly lady in an apartment with a CHOW CHOW!!! It happens!) It's up to us knowledgeable iguana owners to educate the general public about the realities of iguana ownership, be it through an established group like NIAD, or a local rescue group, or through individual interaction with pet stores and other owners. It's a long, long, road, and I don't know if there will EVER be an end, but more people that know are more people who can share thier knowledge. Keep sharing your knowledge!!!!
