Ziggy is 7 years old and very small (probably due to a diet of Romaine lettuce and frozen mix veggies). Now all he does all day is try to get out of his tank, a 40 breeder. I got him a 90 gallon which I am in the process of setting up (the stand came today and I have to make the top and fit the lights to it). But he seems BORED!

We try to take him out a couple of times a day. He was not handled for the past couple of years so we cannot let him roam the house. Also, I do dog rescue and my dogs already think iguana is another kind of dog food.

What can I do to make Ziggy's life more exciting?

Well, before I ask that question, he did have an exciting day today. I took him outside to get some rays today and he was struggling in my hand after about 15 minutes or so. I let him climb up my arm and he bite me just around the elbow. He shocked me so bad I threw him on the grass (he did not fall very far) and he scurried off. My son had a grand time chasing Ziggy all around the garden of our complex. And I think Ziggy was laughing because when my son reached for him, he did not even try to whip him or bite him.

Other than this, is there any other time of entertainment these igs need?

And what about a playmate or cage mate? Will that help if I find him a girlfriend?

Ziggy is asleep right now with his little face mashed up against the glass. He is so cute. I have to go watch my precious sleep!
