Hi Ingo;

No hard feelings. You do not know me and so you would probably assume that I do not know what I am doing. I think a 90 gallon will only hold him for a year but not more even if the does not grow. He is very small, though. His old owner called me last night and told me he is really 9 years old. In total, he cannot be more than 2 1/2 - 3' if that! He is actually very nice when he is out of the tank (except with me sometimes). He seems to really like my son. We would let him free roam except I have 5 dogs in (I do dog rescue too) and since two of the dogs are big (standard poodle) and medium sized (Staffie) and both these dogs have a large prey drive, I cannot take the chance that they would think he was a new kind of dog food. We are trying to modify our wall units to give him some place to go for a chance of scenery and where he will be safe. But that takes time and he just got here not even two weeks ago.

He is still in his 40 breeder which is too small for him. We are putting branches in for him to climb and he seems happier.

The 90 gallon needs a top (which I have to make out of wood) and lights attached and that will take me a little while because while in theory I know what to do, in practice I have not used woodworking tools since high school and that is a distant memory.

All is forgiven, Ingo, and I hope to be able to draw from your knowledge in the future.

Jane
: Sorry, Ziggys Mom,

: I was really a bit short fused that day. I very often come across people who keep their herps in the tinies enclosures you may think of and are surprised that they donßt thrive, donīt move or rub their noses I still think that 90 gallon for an Ig with about a foot svl ist about only half the size it should be. Anyhow, I was really a bit to harsh and I hope, you forgive me.
