BTW - here is a link to some of the reams of research that has been done on Black Knight (d-phenothrin) in a variety of species (no herps, but there is fish and bird data).
World Health Organization Report on d-phenothrin safety
Also be aware that there are some (semi-hysterical) reports online and in "tell all" books of people suffering vague symptoms such as "incapacitation" and "discomfort" (only after they were told the spray they were exposed to was an insecticide! Oddly enough, people who didn't know what the spray was didn't suffer any symptoms. Hmmm. Double blind study anyone?).
Evaluate the facts yourself. I don't hesitate to use this stuff in my snake room or on my animals.
