Is this some kind of joke?
Cat you post at the turtle forum saying that you will take in unwanted tortoises and turtles.

http://www.kingsnake.com/forum/turtle/messages/41692.html

That you have researched the care of all types of torts and turts, yet you seem to know very little.

Russian tortoises are herbivores, they require a warm, dry environment.

Forest Hingebacks are omnivores, that require a humid/dampish environment.
So these two species shouldn't be housed together.

The hingeback wll not do well in a dry. environment. The Russian will not do well in a humid environment.

On top of that it sounds as if both were wild caught. They could be infected with or harboring any number of viruses and diseases/parasites.
Have they been vet checked, including fecal testing?

By housing them together you have opened the door to cross contamination, putting both tortoises at risk.
Even when housing tortoises of the same species together. If you add a new tortoise it should be checked by a vet and quarantined, before joining the group.

I really don't want to sound harsh, but come on. You post that you will take in any unwanted torts. Yet you aren't even sure how to care for the two you have.

I would research the requirements for the tortoises you already have, before getting anymore.
If you want to get into rescue and adoption I suggest that you contact an organization such as Turtle Homes.
Or a local rescue group or herp society who can help you understand what adoption and rescue entails.
