Hi, I need help or I guess my sulcata needs help. I purchased a 5 month old hatchling in early october. He did great up until probably last week. He has always been a picky eater but now he's not eating at all. When I brought him home I bought everything that I thought was needed for his well being and did a lot of reading on what to feed him, etc. but for the last few weeks he keeps his eyes shut and has become very passive. He used to sit in his water dish every day and crawl around he no longer does any of this he just sits. The back of his shell seems to be getting soft and he just sits with his eyes shut, he doesn't want to eat anything. He has the proper lighting and I have tried to feed him the proper diet from the begining, he has always been a picky eater. I know i'm going over the same details I just can't figure out what i've done wrong. Can anyone please give me some advice. I'm wondering if the sand in his cage could be the problem? I bought it at the pet shop and it is digestable for reptiles but he use to get in his water dish everyday and then get it all over him, now he has no interest in the water dish. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank You
