: I AM in the Northeast, my friend.
I RELAIZE you are in the Northeast, you said it many times.
: Here's a different perspective, I haven't come across ANYONE in the Northeast who is currently successfully keeping an ADULT sulcata...
Funny, I know someone who is. When next I visit him, I'll ask if it's ok to pass his info along to you.
: I don't think many of you really understand...
We understand perfectly how large our Sulcata will become and are already making plans for his future.
: I only really feel bad for the tortoises that are not living lives that they should or could. As for posting for advice on this forum, I could care less whether you do or don't.
One of the reasons I do not post questions or advice here is stated above. This prevailing holier that thou attitude. I think it's a shame, people come here looking for advice, if they want a sermon, they could go to church.
You may help a lot of people and for the Sulcatas, I am grateful for that. Some people are misled and don't do the homework before they purchase, whatever, but when they realize they need help this is one of the places they come. Instead of making them feel bad, or talk down to them, which I've seen in other posts, this community should try to form an open relationship with the people looking for help, for the benefit of the Sulcatas.
