I planted a mulberry tree for my tortoises and turtles.
I planted it in my box turtle's enclosure to give them even more shade.
Sulcatas love the leaves, I trim off whole new branches and they strip them of all the leaves. A great food for sulcatas.
The box turtles get the fruit that the wild birds don't get to first.
Mulberry trees grow pretty big, mine would be a lot bigger if I stoped triming it to feed to the torts!
I bought it at 6' it's now around 15' and still growing.
Terry.
