I've been feeding the leaves of what is called a fruitless Mulberry to both my tortoises and some prehensile tail skinks I have for about 6 years now. No adverse effects have shown up although the skinks do not like it as much as the tortoises. (they really like the stuff).
In researching the general toxicity of the plant I found that early indians actually used the leaves as a remedy against internal parasites when used as a tea.
