: I planted a mulberry tree for my tortoises and turtles.

Many people on the iguana forum told me that mature Mulberry leaves were toxic, but that the immature ones were ok. Also, I did find Mulberry under the list of poisonous plants in Frye's Reptile Clinician's Handbook. And additionally, I was at the monitor forum once asking about silkworms as a food for carnivorous herps, and a few people there told me that their animals got sick on them, and that the food of the silkworms was Mulberry leaves, so the leaves were suspected as the real culprit. Does anyone have any comments on this?
