Linda.
I asked that question a few times at various lists and forums but never recieved a reply.

Mistys South African web site has some good info and plant lists info on it, if I remember correctly.
I would love to grow wildflowers and native grasses etc for my sulcata. But the Arizona climate is a challenge when it comes to gardening.
I can't even find orchard grass mixes or any type of seed at the feed stores here!

I think if you can provide a variety of grasses and wildflowers for graze and other edible plants such as hibiscus and mulberry, fig leaves, opuntia etc it's a huge benefit for the sulcatas.

But in some climates it's a challenge, it was far easier in Hawaii than here in Arizona for example.

I had two mature hibiscus in the yard when I moved in last October. I've planted 8 more around the yard, but not one bush has a flower on it!It's about time for the burmuda grass to come back in, I overseeded the area yesterday and a large troop of ants have spent the past two days carrying off the bermuda grass seed!I thought they were relocating and carrying their eggs, but it's the bermuda grass seed.

Still I think sulcata keepers should try and grow
as much food as possible and allow the torts to graze whenever possible.
Unfortunately many people (me included) just can't grow enough food to keep up with the torts, especially during the winter months. So supplementing with store bought greens and hay has to be done.

Linda your sulcata is beautiful (lovely smooth growth) can you list all the foods you give her, while we're on the subject of diets!
