I live in L.a./ california and I have a sulcata tortoise inside of a 40 gallon enclosure. From now until about november, the temperature is going to be no less than 80 degrees and I'm worried that it's too hot for my sulcata. The right side of my enclosure is fine with my 15 watt. flourescent uvb emmiting light. However on the left side of my enclosure I have a 60 watt. basking incadescent light and it's about 93-94 degrees already and it's only May.
Should I get rid of the incandescent light and only provide the flourescent light for my sulcata?
