I only occasionally visit this forum, and post even more rarely. I visited today in hopes of distracting myself for at least a little while from the problems of the world outside my study, only to find a number of people - including regular forum users who should certainly know better - engaged in bickering, spouting political diatribes and even outright hatemongering as a result of Tuesday's horrific events.

I know that emotions are somewhat out of control all around right now, and on those grounds I for one will forgive what has thus far been written. But for me that's the extent of it.

The subject of this forum is RATSNAKES, and there are clear rules forbidding off-topic and especially abusive posts. Henceforth I will do my part to help kingsnake.com enforce those rules by promptly reporting any forum abuse I see, every time I see it. If my complaints result in some of the most valued past contributors to this forum being barred from using it, or even in the complete shutdown of the forum, so be it. Better that than what I've seen today.

I strongly encourage other forum users to do the same (just follow the "Report Forum Abuse" link at the top of the forum).
