$225 for a rainbow boa? Sounds like we should be selling our snakes to you guys. Although I'm sure you could put us to shame with the prices you pay on some of the Euro Elaphe.
As for the pricing, it's just a point I was making. Prices do come down over time but! I don't know of more then 3 maybe 4 coxi females that were produced this year. With that said why would the price go down when so many people still want but can't get them. I can see wanting to move your stock but for heavens sakes, it's okay to take a month to do so. People are in too much of a rush to move snakes FAST now.
Thanks for the post, you have a great point. I only talk about prices because I have friends who just about sold the farm to get these guys, there's no reason for a price drop and they should still be able to get their money back.
My point was just that once one big breeder does it more are to follow. The big dogs in the hobby need to stay at a price and not be the first to slash. That's like the guy in Vegas that produced albino geckos. Sold them for $10,000 each and then the next year when his customers could have made their money back he slashed the price to half that. That's just wrong and makes for a "rainy" day!
I'm broke but if I wasn't this would have been my $.02
