Radiated rats, tend to be quite agressive and intolerant of handling. I'm sure there are exceptions, but I haven't seen any personally.
They are extremely fast snakes, and quite active. Mine only come out of hiding, however, when I'm not in the room. One of the first things I hear when I walk in is the thrashing of the female looking for a hiding spot. If she happens to be out and I bend over to look in the cage she immediately swells her throat and assumes her defensive posture, stiriking the glass repeatedly until I move back.
They need a large enclosure, and I have found they often do better in a semi naturalistic setup. One I had refused to eat anything during his quarrantine period when he was housed on newspaper with a basic hidebox. When I switched him to a more natural cage he ate the next day and didn't refuse a meal after that.
Humidity is another issue with this species. In my experience, they have a strong tendancy for bad sheds if the humidity is not kept up.
These snakes are very interesting captives, but are definately not for beginners or those who cannot deal with an overly agressive snake.

: i'm thinking of geting a albenop radiated ratsnake and could someone give me info on them ASAP
