The one I've got's never bitten, or even struck at me. Or puffed his neck out, for that matter, which's kind of a shame, as I'd like to see that. He was spastic when he was younger, though he's much calmer now... still makes occasional lunges out into space just to see if I'm paying attentiont, but usually pretty calm once he's been out a couple of minutes.
