Geez!I just got two babys three weeks ago and this is the first I've heard they are evil! They thrash around alot when I handle them, and puff their throats when I go into their cage, but generally haven't bitten me outside of their cage. I hope they don't turn evil!

: It might calm down with alot of handling, but I wouldn't count on it. Mine only have gotten worse with age.
: As a hatchling, my female was almost docile, but by six months of age had developed an attitude. Handling made no difference, she became less tolerant of it by the day, and now she is absolutely evil. When being held she will attempt to get away for a few seconds, turn and bite me, then try to get away again. As a general rule, these snakes want nothing to do with being held.
: Like I said before, there are probably exceptions to this, butI haven't seen them.
: If you decide to get one of these snakes, just realize what you are potentially getting into. I enjoy them very much, and just accept their bad dispositions as part of their personality and enjoy them for what they are. Some people are not willing to approach them this way however, and should probably get another species, like a taiwan beauty for instance.
