Make sure he has a good hide area.

Best thing do to in my opinion is wait until he is inside the hide box, then pick up the entire box and kind of dump him into your hands. This way...he doesn't have the chance to get all riled up as you are reaching for him. A large hand reaching in at a little snake that is recently wc is pretty scary.

If he bites...nothing to worry about for YOU, but just make sure that you don't PULL AWAY in reaction to the bite, or you can hurt his teeth.

Give him a couple days after he eats...let him poop...before handling, or he may regurg.

Handle him gently for 15-20 min or so on the days when he does not have food in his belly, and he should clam down in no time.
