Black Knight is not approved for use on reptiles, and is in fact illegal when used in such a manner. I've noticed serious problems among my snakes right after applying it, most likely including the death of my male aru scrub. The necropsy found an abundance of toxins in his body. In talking with the vet, the only thing that could have done that was the Black Knight. I have spent much of my last three year creating a really nice collection of chondros and jungles carpets that have become incredibly dear to me. I nearly lost them when I used Black Knight.
Robyn, I applied the Black Knight in the methods you outlined in your Mite FAQ, and had nearly disastrous results. Have you thoroughly tested Black Knight in accordance with the methods you have outlined? If not, please stop promoting it as the best product out there. Claiming something to be the best just because you have used it numerous times apparently successfully is both irrational and misleading.
Bob Pound has done his research, and put forth a product that has been proven safe when used as directed on the can.

:i think the world of you Rob, but Black Knight is both EASIER to use AND more effective than Provent a Wreck.
