It takes good judgement to decide how much is too much. You are supposed to just lightly fog the container that the animal is in. I'm not talkin heavy spraying. Of course it needs to be in proportion to the animal's size. For example, with a baby corn snake...only a small short spray...maybe half a second would be appropriate. For most snakes...it should be only 1-3 seconds of spraying.
