Maybe John Clare knows something about "Complete Remedy": he is an expert about those kind of products and will probably help you more than me.

Hi!

I remember that when I tried a new product and I ask question to the list, John Clare was always the one who knows something about the products or knows somebody who can help. Just ask to him.

For segments, it is always the same thing: no segment for a week and a lot during a couple of days. That's give me the blues!

Sharleen.

: I was just curious to see if the sodium chlorite would be bad for my tiger. I know salts and amphibians don't mix well. It says on the bottle that it ISN'T a salt solution, but an oxidant, so I don't know if it's any good. I may try it if the fungus gets really bad. So far it's just restricted to the back of his head and on a little bit of his back.

: As far as tapeworms go, I found a segment this morning in his tank that was about 6 inches long. I thought that maybe the tapeworm died and he passed it. It appears not because I am still finding a lot of segments in his tank tonight. He seems to be doing fine, but I can't really judge that too well.

: Other than the two problems he's been swimming around a lot and even likes the little "bar" I put in the tank for him. It's pretty much like a handrail. It's a piece of piping from an underground filter with caps over the ends, and it's stuck to the side of the aquarium with suction cups. He seems to like hanging on to it so he can get a gulp of air.

: I figure I'll keep an eye on him and hope for the best. I know I can get Marycn if I go home in a couple of weeks for a break. As far as tapeworms, I still haven't found anything because there aren't any stores here that specialize in herps. I may find something back home at some of the store we have, so I'll keep you posted.

: Thanks again

: Aaron
