Why C.ruber will be protected

C.ruber's habitat is also prime habitat for people are their huge housing developements. I have a copy of the report that suggests protection for this and many of the other species, and it is from a conservation standpoint, not overcollection. They are trying to protect coastal SoCal species to make it hard for developers. We should support most of their suggestions in the hopes it may save habitat. But I hope they grandfather-clause the ruber :P
