: I have at least 50 Jackson's Chameleon's on my property, living naturaly in the trees. Almost every single tree has at least one, and the big trees have several in each. I don't know much about them, but I find them interesting. My first question is "Can they hear"? The reason is that when I run a chain saw or other loud equipment near them, they seem to have no reaction at all, like they can't hear it. Secondly, it appears that human contact or presence changes the way they act. What I mean is that I have noticed that the ones living in trees near my home don't seem to mind human contact, they will let you pick them up and show them to a guest for example. However the ones living in trees 50 yards or more from my home will take off running if I happen upon them, running may not be the correct word, but some of them can move pretty darn fast. Since I have so many I thought I should try an educate myself about them at least a little bit. I hope you nice people can help me out. Thank you very much, Cody
Thats asome u must live in Hawii.
