The low frequency sounds are more like vibrations that are more felt than heard.Necas says that sound is of little importance to them and I agree, they are very impaired,quite deaf in hearing as it may be compared in warm bloods.
Necas also says that taste is rudementary as well.I wonder why they savor certain insects over others if they barely distinguish taste? Any thoughts?
