My guess is a water snake. Many watersnakes actually get the musk smeared all over them selves which would make it LOOK like it was coming out of the skin. I dont know of any snakes that can actually produce liquid from between the scales, so that would have to be my guess. Watersnakes have some of the worst smelling musk of all as well. Andy
