Thanks, but I don't think it helped. I have the big green herp field guide for the US, and I didn't see anything that fit his description in there. Personally I think it was just some kind of worm or frog-eating snake, and it had slime oozing from its mouth, but I'm not sure because I wasn't there. Thanks anyway.
