My daughter had a lizard in her class that was marked similar to the five lined skink that we had. The tail was a lighter blue and it was white and/or light blue on the underside. The rest of the body was dark with lines going down the body. The head shape seemed a little different than our skink and the texture of the skin seem different. Anyway, this lizard was found dead this morning. The teacher wants to find the same kind of lizard to replace it and at the same time, we would like to be able to know exactly what it is so we can make sure we are meeting it's needs.
Is there any kind of lizard that is marked like a five lined skink, but isn't a skink? What is the differnce between a lizard and a skink? Thanks for any info!
