Never touched? I often hook and tail to move snakes around for maintenance, which means I get to touch my snakes all the time. And of course they are tubed and hand restrained for any necessary medications and veterinary exams.

As for getting pleasure from being able to handle a snake more freely, I think that the price that has to be paid for that pleasure is too high. I don't mean in dollars, I mean in a snake's flesh, blood and pain. That is the coin you are spending to buy your extra fun. Are you really proud of that fact?
