I'm glad their are actually responsible people out their who will ask that question and not wait until someone is bit. I have read the other posts and they are all full of accurate information. so I will only say a few things. First of all I think it is much more wise and responsible to teach children where to walk and look for snakes . As most people get bit when attempting to catch a snake or kill it.Secondly contact all your local hospitals and make sur they carry Cotton Mouth Anti-vennin as all hospitals do not carry it.Knowing which hospitals to go to can drastically improve your chances of a full recovery.
