Yeh, make sure you have a wall around the pond so they can not wander off. Also beware of predators such as coons, dogs ect. You may want to put a cover over the pond during the night since birds of prey may also swoop down and grap one of then. You can make the cover out of lattice so it lets light threw. Also one more thing, I would not put hatchlings in the pond right away. It will be hard to locate them and a easier catch to predators. I would wait until there at least 3-4in. Hope this helps...
