We bought a regular Green Tree frog (hyla cinerea) today and hes fine...but I prefer the snakes for the handling. The first thing I noticed was the fact that you really cant handle frogs. Anyway, about a week ago I cought a little tree frog around here (SF bay area CA). I could tell he was tree frog becouse of the little suction cups on his feet. Thing is he was a little uglier, and a little less jumpy.

What Im really asking is are they of the same genus? Can they be housed together? They are obviously both from america, so whats the difference? These are very general questions, but thanks to anyone who can help me.
