I would be concerned about a vet who treated a bump like that without a biopsy. If it were inflamed you would probably go for a course of antibiotics and the cause would still not be known. But how do you treat something when you don't know the cause?

If the frog also develops Red Leg that will be unrelated, IMO. I have never seen a bump like that associated with Red Leg. I have seen bumps like that that were totally benign. I have a WC old male who has several. They are old scar tissue. It cost me $250 to find that out. He has lived happily ever after with his bumps intact.
