i am picking up a garden phase tree boa, and i was wondering if any handles theirs. i have had a few good bites by tree boas, but i have never owned one. i am well aware of their bite, but i really would like to handle mine when it gets acclamated. i have gotten very angry african rock pythons, and retics to tame down over time, but i am wondering if aboreals stress easier. i have been reading up on their anatomy and physiology (aboreals) for a few months now, and i am confident in my descision to get one. i don't mind not handling one, but, i think it would be fun to have one that is handlable.

i am also confused about substrate. i am planning un using newspaper (figureing that since they atre aboreal they do on need much sub. s.) but i know news paper will not hold appropiate humidity. i'm thinking about cypress mulch, but i am worried about possiable intestineal impactions.
