forgot to say, try cutting up cuttlefish bone into bite sized cubes & offering this as an alternative.
This is how I first got my Sulcata's onto eating the c/bone.
Now I have a dish of c/bone always in their enclosure, which needs to be replenished several times per week (3 sulcata's)

:I think it's the fact that white could be a "calcium possibility" in the mind of a tort.

:They won't eat above half a dozen at anyone sitting, but it does play hell when you weigh your tort, haveing to subtract 6 pebbles at 2gm each ;)

::They are white rocks, so that's about right. Any idea why they only go for the light ones? Guess I'll be replacing what's there with something smaller so I will worry less. Thanks for the info.
