i scrape the cuttle bone's soft side with a spoon. it makes a fine powder that i sprinkle on fresh veggies. another delivery method is what i call "shake and bake". scrape it into a sandwich bag, add food,and shake it up. this gives a nice even dusting. but this is info for smaller tort owners. you big leaguers could use trash bags instead !
