he is from july 2002 and im not sure if he is from the white headed batch, although he does have a lot of green on his head still. he stays burrowed a good part of the day so i put the food out without him seeing me which i think is good so he doesnt associate my hand with food. he will only eat when food is put on his rock. he has eaten a pinky and some banana. he pounced on a few superworms but gets scared when they bend back towards his face. but if i dont put the food on his basking spot he'll walk right by it. so ive offered cheese,bread,he ate some turkey,and apple. i try to offer dead insect because his enclosure is so big he'd a hard time hunting the insects down and he'd get a mouthful of cyprus mulch. i have a feeling when he gets bigger in size he'll be easier to handle and tame down.
