Dug-- Softshells are a tough case because they're often aggressive and wary. Try using FOOD! I've had good luck taming them when they learn that you are the food guy and that you will feed them when they approach you. Most of my various softshells species will now take food from my hand. Try food, the universal tool for conditioning animals! Good luck! --Maxx
