Humidity and such

(First of all, I don't have any crested geckos yet) I was wondering if there is any alternative to spritzing the cage down every day/twice a day? Isn't there a little machine that I could buy that would keep the tank humid (would there be benefits for this kind of set up)? Also, would it be good to buy a humidity monitor as well, and if so at what level should I keep the monitor at?
