I got a Fluker red 60watt light for my cresteds’ at night. (2 reasons- my house gets down to 63 at night and so I can see them).
I am on my third bulb in 2 weeks, has anyone else had this problem with these lights? or just a bad lot?
I am using a thermostat that turns the "night" light on and off set at 68 deg (too much on and off for the lights?)
Also do the blue reptile night-lights work also?
Should I quit paying 6 dollars a shot and just go to Wal-Mart and get a red bulb for a buck....or is there a reason to get "reptile" night lights.
Do the red "heat" lights put out good red light for seeing my little guys(or girls do not know yet) at night?
What have you found that works best for you?
As you can see I think I might be making a bigger deal over a light than necessary...?.?.?
