I have a sugar glider and if they are a little thin you can feed them this High Calcium Ensure meal replacement drink with Calcium carbonate tablets (crushed) added. I have strawberry flavoured. Anyway.....here is my question.

I have a crested gecko who is fairly thin and has always been thin. NO MATTER what I do and he has been checked out. I was THINKING 'maybe' if I feed a tiny bit of this to my gecko that it would fatten him up. I would just do it maybe once or twice a week. Plus, instead of using the calcium carbonate I would just use the rep calcium (which was originally in the diet).

I don't see why I couldn't. It is starwberry flavoured and it who be a good calcium and energy boost. I could just try it out for a bit and weigh him every week to see if there is an improvement. If anyone wants I can list the ingredients and vitamins that are in the drink. Oh and the drink is lactose free. The only thing is I'm not sure if there is any kind of milk like products in it. Someone in a different forum says it is water, but I'll have to look into it. I just thought I would throw the idea out in the air.

AGAIN...I have NOT done this and I want to hear what everyone else thinks first. I may talk to my vet as well. In no way do I want to harm my rep.

What does everyone think?

Thanks,
Liz
