No the previous male was not Drako. He was the previous owners male with Venus.

The female I put with Drako laid her eggs this morning (Rayne), so hopefully they will be fertile. This is her first clutch since I've had her. She has laid one before I got her. I'm getting frustrated and VERY concerned. I hate for my female (Venus) to go through laying all those eggs and it seems pointless to go through all that effort. :( It seems such a waste for them.

All my female eat VERY well...they prefer there crickets over babyfood, unless I hand feed them Babyfood. Drako doesn't eat quite as much as my females. He has always been thin like that. Even since I bought him at 6 months he hasn't seemed to gain a lot OR lose weigh. He has gained a a bit since I bought him. I'll have to check my records for exact weigh gain. I have been hand feeding Drako babyfood and I throw in a 'little' honey the other day. Which I don't think he liked. I have tried waxworms to add fat and he won't eat them. A while back my sister and I rubbed the side of his mouth and when he opened it I popped a waxworm in. He eat it then. LOL The poor little guy. I'm not sure what to do. My vet has checked him out and said the same thing..needs weigh...I took him back because he wasn't gaining weight. She said he was very healthy..just thinner than normal. I'm running out of ideas.

Thanks for all your help with ALL my cresteds, :)
Liz

:Was the previous male Drako who we talked about before? If so then yes, it could be the male. Just follow the advice I gave you previously. If not could be the female (not ready) or some other factor. Also is everybody eating enough?
