Are there any lizards that produce green or blues the same way snakes do? It was my understanding that most green snakes have a base layer of blue produced through Tyndall scattering, which is then overlaid with yellow. In axanthic morphs of these snakes, they appear blue (e.g. blue green tree pythons). I just assumed that green lizards worked the same way, but I realize I might be wrong.
