It sounds like you're really doing your research. Keep it up, the herp hobby needs more people like you. I hope you get some cresties, cuz they are awesome. I only hve one, but that will probably change in the future. I'm not familiar w/ using live plants, but I know of some people who have successfully used air plants in their terrariums. They looked pretty good. Good luck!
