It is a federal law that states allowed to sell them retain such until a length of 10cm is reached. I can understand your vets concerns. You may try asking him/her for advice. They will generally give you a clean bill of health that way...Hope this helps..
do you mean where am i keeping them as in a tank or as in a state??? i'm in NY. I haven't actually seen a vet yet because of my concern of them taking them away, but it seems like everyone else said it wasn't a problem. You disagree??
