Anacharis is the most natural food you can offer to your turtles...I've had plenty of experience with anacharis and here are some ideas...grow your own in a separate tank or bucket and just be sure it gets some light everyday...you can keep fish w/ the anacharis too (the plants need a fertilizer) but be sure to follow basic fish keeping rules for water quality food filtration etc...as soon as you get anacharis be sure to wash it thoroughly because you may get snails (which can multiply in your tank)...good luck my turtle loves his anacharis
