No, you are not cramping my style. I appreciate the advise greatly. I worked with some Transpecos rats a few years ago and they had an aspen bedding that they could burrow in. My male Trans-pecos is about 6 months old and my female is 4 months old. My male does just fine and eats like a hog, but my female is the one that seems to have been stressed with the cage change. Do you think I should return her to a much smaller cage and provide a bedding that she can hide under along with more natural elements for her?
