Transpecos ratsnakes are arid-region snakes that occupy holes and fissures in the rocky (I believe limestone) terrain of their range. My personal opinion is that they do best in a small cage (for a young one) with water being offered only once per week or so, and a substrate like newspaper where the snake can hide in the folds. Your cage looks more like a woodland type setup, and the large cage vs the size of the snake can be a factor in stressing the snake a bit, which in part may play a role in the regurging.
Not trying to cramp your style here; just offering advice. I used to have a pair, and I really think that they are one snake that does best in simple, dry cages with hiding opportunity low to the ground.
