I'm by no means an expert on keeping this species...but..I would set up a decent size cage with a thermal gradient, upper 70's to low 80's on one end and a nice hot basking spot where they can get 85-90 on the other...and of course good hide spot on the cool end...and I think you'll do fine.
Whenever you are not certain of the temps a critter prefers, thermal gradients are best...the snakes will tell you what they prefer by the way act in the cage.
