Patchnose Snakes

Has anyone had any experience keeping Patchnose Snakes in captivity? If so could you please let me know how they were kept and how they did? I hear they are just like racers except are more of a desert dweller. I hear they are hard to convert to rodents from lizards. And I have conflicting info on temps. One says access to near 100 F and the other says 70-80 F is fine.
